Orchids are definitely up among one of my top favorite types of flowers. From the last visit to Beppu Ropeway station, I surprisingly came across this small orchid flowering on the forest floor. It's the first wild orchid I've ever seen here in Japan. I have no idea what specific species it is, but it's still looking nice. So here we go with a selection of this first wild orchid in Japan for me.
