My name is Ayuwat Jearwattanakanok. Born in a small town called Mae Taeng, north of Chiang Mai city, Thailand, I am now studying in a city called Beppu located in Oita Prefecture, southern Japan. I spend my free-time squeezing birds out of this little town and enjoy making trips to different places during school vacations. Birdwatching has been my hobby ever since I was 10. It all started from bird drawing. I've become more serious about birding ever since and finally started bird photography in the early 2000s. Even after I became more engaged with photography, I never stop drawing.
My current set of equipment includes a Canon EOS 550D, Canon 300mm f4L IS and a Canon Extender EF 1.4x II. My previous camera was an EOS 350D which stayed with me since 2006. Before that I did digiscoping with my Carl Zeiss telescope. About drawing, I normally do field sketches with black ink and watercolour on my hand-made 100g papered-sketchbook. Acrylic is also my alternative. Hope you like the blog and share with me some of your comments!
