とんぼ

Went out to the small fields behind the railway at Furui-chi (古市) this morning in hope for some waders, only few snipes were seen though. There were many とんぼ(tonbo/dragonflies) today, since it's the first time of the week to be sunny. While waiting for the snipe, I tried shooting some of them in flight and surprisinly found it pretty much enjoyable. I really like the green one with pale blue rump, it is so beautiful in flight. Lots of these dragonflies were also laying eggs around everywhere in the flooded lotus field.
