Once in a while

Once in a while for me to sit down and pick up a brush. These two pictures are my very first pieces of acrylic paintings. I find it's hard for me to make them look natural since first, I drew them from the photos and second, I need a lot more practice with acrylic. I actually wanted to put the joy of the late spring's forest into the second pic but it turned out to be very still and bold. I think I'll be able to paint more during the vacation. I'll be uploading them in the future.

Stunning! Since these are your firsts, I'm sure your later pieces are even better! The one of the forest gives me a feeling of serenity with a touch of mystery around it... :-) I like how you did the lighting and shadows of the tree. The composition of the eagle painting is really good too. Keep it up!
