Last Month's Terek

Here are some shots of the same Terek Sandpiper you've seen here in this entry. The bird stayed around at the river mouth for about 3 days and I took lots and lots of photos of it. The bird used the rocks around the bank as its roosting site along with the Grey-tailed Tattlers. These birds are much more approachable when they're perching on the rocks, maybe just because there's not so much space to walk.

The light was not so good so many of the shots were blurry...

This juvenile Japanese Wagtail was also feeding around the area as well.
