Blue Moon of 2010

Just got back from a short trip to Nam Kham Nature Reserve yesterday, celebrated a new year with small bird ringing sessions. The new January of 2010 is going to have two full moons. The rise of the first at Mekong River in Chiang Saen on the very first day of the year got me into deep emotion. The earth's only natural satellite, it's hard to explain how much the moon has been so important to all man kind. The moon that night shone so bright and I had a great time enjoying landscape photography in Nam Kham area. 2009 had been quite a tough year for all. Hope 2010 brings in new hopes and fresh air.
