Finally got back to Thailand for few days now. It's been raining everyday since the arrival, but that's good because it makes the temperature much cooler than in Japan right now. I went to Doi Inthanon (ดอยอินทนนท์) yesterday with my father but failed to see any good species. However, there were already few visitors here! A presumably young, male Common Kingfisher (Alcedo atthis) was presenting very well at a small pond in the camp ground area. Several Grey Wagtails (Motacilla cinerea) were also seen along the road to the summit. Barn Swallows (Hirundo rustica) were swifting all over the place. The birding season is about to begin!!!
